How do I join KSAL?

Do I need prior CTF experience to join KSAL?
No. The Beginner Path exists for people new to CTF and starts with core concepts and practical challenge walkthroughs. What matters more is curiosity, a willingness to learn in public, and taking feedback constructively.
How much time do I need to commit?
Daily activity is not required. Small, regular sessions beat random bursts of activity, so consistent weekly participation is enough to grow with the team.
What roles can I take on the team?
There are three paths. The Beginner Path covers core concepts and walkthroughs. The Builder Path suits people who like scripting, tooling, automation, and infrastructure that makes solves faster. The Specialist Path is for experienced players focusing on advanced categories and high-impact rounds.
Which CTF categories does KSAL work on?
The team covers Web Exploitation, Cryptography, Binary Exploitation, Digital Forensics, Reverse Engineering, OSINT, and Misc challenges.
Who can join KSAL?
KSAL is based in Kosovo and Albania and is the competitive team of DEF CON Group DC38338 in Prishtina. Members from Kosovo, Albania, and the diaspora are all welcome, and where you live is not the important part.
